Trinity’s Learning Resource Center (TLRC) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit, faith based, public benefit, charitable youth & family mentoring organization providing "low-cost" Life Skills Enrichment & Youth Leadership Programs which include Basic Life Skills, Life Planning and Preparation, Financial Literacy, Health & Wellness, and Youth Leadership After-School Clubs and evening outreach programs for community children and youth 8-21 years of age, in the West Valley (Phoenix) Arizona area, providing child care and life skills enrichment for children newborn to 7 years of age, as well as parent coaching and family wellness programs. Through life skills education, mentoring, and family wellness programs, TLRC is making the world a better place; helping children, youth, families, and communities to enjoy successful, life-giving lives by providing the knowledge and understanding, skills, tools/ techniques, love, care and concern, and the necessary mentoring that provides direction, promotes learning, develops positive attitudes, skills, and habits that lead to successful living, community contribution, and community well being; instilling and building value, confidence, competence and combating juvenile delinquency and community deterioration. Equipping and preparing our children and youth in a highly competitive society is a must, and in order to fully equip and prepare them, as parents, we must recognize our responsibility to get them the help they need. Parents, can further guarantee your children’s success by participating in our Parent/Family Enrichment Workshops which helps parents guarantee their children's success, “Raising Successful & Happy Youth to Become Successful & Happy Adults”.
While your youth are learning vital life skills that will ensure their success with you, in school, among their peers, and in their communities, they are also learning the value of money and how they relate to money will determine their success, you have the opportunity to learn and understand the most needful skills and strategies for being a successful parent in today’s changing society! Learn how to connect and reconnect with your children & youth, bring healing to your relationships, and learn how to grow as a team through rightly relating to one another, as well as the the principles of success.
We are reaching out to assist in meeting the socioeconomic needs of the community by preparing these youth and families with life skills that will both enhance them, the workplace, and our communities.
There is a $55 or $95/Registration fee for program uniform & initial binder. All classes and session are at "no-cost" to enrollees as long as participants participate in our scheduled fundraisers to raise the minimum $295/per student minimum for the program services.
These programs are preparing and equipping youth to be successful in all areas of living: starting out with “First things First”, how their attitudes shape their lives and determines their future successes; Discovering where they are now and where they want to go; getting organized from the bedroom to Backpack; How to prepare for and pass every test; Developing Communication Skills/Social Skills (how courtesy and teamwork determines how successful they will be as a family, in school, and on the job); Courtesy verses Disobedience; the importance of Personal Hygiene, Health & Nutrition; How to organize their space and time that will enable them to get more done, quicker, and in peace; How to shop for the best deals; How Money Works; Understanding Mutual Funds, IRA’s & Money Market Accounts; How to plan and prepare for a job interview, resume preparation, and how to prepare for and to reach their life goals; Bad Credit verses Good Credit; Jobs for Kids; Gang Awareness & Prevention; CPR / First Aid, and much more…
