Our Parent Workshops are designed to help you, parents, be the best parents, teachers, supporters, encouragers of your children, so that your children are not looking for the love, praise, and attention in all the wrong places; places where others will influencing them, their thoughts, choices, attitudes, decisions, and destiny!
You may be a parent who has been blessed to provide your child that kind of environment and may conclude that your child does not need this class. Yet, we believe every youth, young adult and adult needs life skills enrichment in order to successfully navigate in life and to fulfill their destiny.
We are providing a moral foundation with practical tools and strategies to win your kids back and to enjoy the abundant life Christ paid the price for each and every one of us and our families to have and enjoy! It's not for a select few. Come and hear, and learn how to apply the Principles of Success and positively exercise your parental authority.
Our Creator, and there is only one, provided principles for living, and as long as we learn of them and commit to living them out; living love and He sees it and doing justly, loving mercy and walking humbly with Him, we will lack for no good or beneficial thing. This is a promise that we have lived by and many who have come to hear, learn and practice have found the same. Youth and families who have never heard or understood are finding HOPE for their FUTURE, and the Good Plan for their lives and HELP to realize it!
Our kids are looking to us to parent them, so let's find out how and what we should be doing so that we and our families can be blessed to enjoy life and not be overcome by it! Not until we, as parents, are hearing, learning, and practicing it, can our children begin to. And not until we are "instructing our children in the way they should go," will they go that way! Their success depends upon us sowing the good seed into their lives "seeds of success."
A farmer knows, if there is no seed put into the ground, you cannot expect a harvest. The same is true for our children and youth. We must plant the seeds for success. We must water them with love, approval, praise and encouragement, and we must guard against the pests and weeds of life (the enemy) that seek to steal, kill and destroy them. It's up to us!!!
Youth Depression....
Many youth admit experiencing feelings of sadness and anxiety. And with all the hormonal, physical and life changes teenagers experience during puberty, that doesn’t come as much of a surprise.
The problem is that many parents (and even other teenagers) often mistake depression for just another bout of the blues, fueling the perception that teenagers are inexplicably "moody". However, teen depression is a serious issue to be addressed. Many physicians call it mental illness, but the Truth of the matter that although the attack is against their minds and emotions, they are not mentally ill. It is an assignment of darkness (the evil one) that is seeking entrance and it is initiated through depressive thoughts and feelings that influences the perceptions of worthlessness and those emotions are what lead one to take their own life. The demons cannot kill anyone! But the can influence others to and even to take their own life through hopelessness.
We must understand that our children and teens are not immune to this attack of darkness. The devil and other fallen angels (demon spirits) are real, and are a real enemy. And these enemies only intent is to steal, kill and destroy - mentally emotionally, physically, spiritual, financially, relationally—and in every way—this enemy is after the lives and souls of mankind.
Yet inspite of their intent, there are real answers and solutions God has made available to those who will have an ear to hear.
