The gatekeeper opens the gate for him, and the sheep hear his voice and come to him. He calls his own sheep by name and leads them out. After he gathers his own flock, he walks ahead of them, and they follow him because they recognize his voice. They won't follow stranger; they will run from him because they don't recognize his voice...I assure you, I am the gate for the sheep...All others who came before me were robbers: but the sheep did not hear them. I am the door: by me if any man enters in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out, and find pasture." (John 10:1-9)

His Word is Spirit and Life..health...medication to all our flesh...
The Word of God instructs us that in this life, we will have trials and tribulations...but to be of good cheer because He has overcome the world and deprived it of its power to harm us. Jesus has given every one who believes in Him, the victory over all life's circumstances...
It is only by and through faith in Him, His Word, His promises that we can truly experience that victory and have His Best...
It is through an established, vitally connected relationship with God that He reveals to us His Plans and Purposes for our lives. It is about relationship, not religion.
The Word of God tells us that when we cry out to Him, when we call upon His Name [the Name of Jesus], and turn from our sins [those things that offend Him] that He would hear us and heal us--He promised to help us, to restore us (Spirit, Soul, and Body). That includes: Physically, Spiritually, Financially, Mentally, Emotionally, Consciously, Subconsciously, Materially, Socially--in all ways...
He has provided all things that pertains to "life and godliness through the knowledge of Him." (2 Peter 1:2-11)

Faith without works is dead. Likewise, works without faith is dead. (James 2:20)
There is a reason for your lack, debt, and credit issues. There is a root cause that once you identify it and are willing to do whatever it takes (within the laws of man and the Will of God), you will overcome and succeed.
You must cast aside your reasonings because it is your reasonings, your present mind set, that has you bound.
Open your heart and mind to hear and understand that there are laws: univeral laws, practical laws, and spiritual laws, that if they are transgressed or applied, will produce life or death--physical, spiritual, mental, emotional, financial, material, social (relationships), etc. Whether you acknowledge them or have knowledge of them or not. It's the way of life! The Father said, "My people perish for lack of knowledge [because they don't know Me]..." (Hosea 4:6)
If you are ready for change and are willing to trust the One who created you for purpose--to allow Him by His Spirit, through His Word, His Son Jesus Christ, to have His Way in you and your life, you will see God's plan for your life is GOOD! He has planned for your welfare and well being. He has given you hope and a future. (Jeremiah 29:11)
You must be willing to change (repent) of your ways and seek His. "If I regard iniquity (unconfessed sin) in my heart, the Lord will not hear me." (Psalms 66:18) Unconfessed sin is what hinders our prayers. 1 John 1:5-10 says, "God is light and there is no darkness in him at all. So we are lying if we say we have fellowship with God but go on living in spiritual darkness. We are not living in the truth...But if we confess our sins to him, he is faithful and just to forgive us and to cleanse us from every wrong. If we claim that we have not sinned we are calling God a liar and showing that his word has no place in our hearts." God does not hear the prayers of the one who will not confess his sin.
Many people do not accurately know [have knowledge of] the Lord. They have "heard" about Him, and learned some things about Him, but have seen and experienced something altogether different, and as the result have become discouraged and disillusioned as to why they are not seeing what God promised in their lives. Click here to understand why people hear one thing and experience another.
Whatever you do, put God and His Word [His revealed Will] first place and above every and anything that comes into your life. Married couples need to come into agreement as to what they are going to do so that their plans will be successful.
When you are committed to God and doing His Will, He is committed to His Word [His Promises] to manifest them in your life--absolutely everything you need and even desire...But it starts with us!
If your current circumstances say that you and your spouse are not in agreement to put God first, it is the responsibility of the one who does believe to "stand in the gap" for your spouse, your marriage, family, etc. There must be someone who will say "Yes!" to the Lord and to do His Will: to pray, to seek His grace [His unmerited, unearned mercy (forgiveness)], His Wisdom and understanding so that God will "see" your faith and honor your faith, as written in His Word. Even though God knows all things, He cannot violate your will, and He will not violate His Word. So we must align our lives with His Word so that we can experience the blessings of His provision. "For the eyes of the Lord run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to show Himself strong in behalf of them whose heart is perfect [made ready, peaceable] toward Him" (2 Chronicles 16:9).
It is faith [confident trust and expectation] in Him and His Word He is looking for. For if you believe your words will agree and your actions will confirm it. Don't be discouraged if your spouse is not at that place of trust and believing - look to Jesus [the Word of God], and begin to daily pray for your spouse. Don't pray your will for them or for them to be and do as you will, but pray God's Will, His Word, His best for them. Pray His Word! Here are some recommended scriptures to pray for you and your family.
If your heart is right, ifyour motives, your attitude towards your spouse is right, then God's Word will manifest in your life.
God's instructions, His command, His Word, the blessing and the curse, life and death was sent out when He first declared it to the children of Israel, and it is up to us [according to what we think, say, and do] that will determine whether or not we experience abundant life and the blessing He provided, or the curse.
Parental Responsibilities
God commanded His people to teach and instruct their children after and according to His Word, commands, laws, and instructions so that they and their children would be blessed [their descendants after them]. He declared that those who disobeyed would cause the curse to come upon them and their children to the third and fourth generations to those who hate Him [to disregard Him, His Word]. But He lavishes His love on those who love Him [who honor and respect by being obedient, out of love] even for a thousand generations (Deuteronomy 5:9b-10).
Sin and rebellion are character traits passed down from generation after generation by example. Just as righteousness [a right relationship with God, by God's grace and obedience] is imparted and demonstrated [passed down] by example: teaching, instruction, role modeling.
If parents don't understand that their choices and decisions to acept the great responsbility of their children to teach and train them to know God, to understand His Ways, laws, commands and instructions, so that they can understand Whose and who they care in Christ, what He provided for them, and His purpose for their lives, they will not be propperly prepared and positions to fulfill His will. They will be ignorant [not knowing] and that lack of knowledge results in bad decisions that lead to death and the curse. They will do and say what you do and say. You are the ones who are laying the foundations of their lives for good or bad. For the blessing or the curse.
God's Will is that His people are blessed and have life, that is why Christ came. This is why God sent His Word [Jesus in the flesh so that we could follow His example, and find the way to truth and life.
God and His Children
Would you bless or give a reward to a disobedient child? One who refuses to listen to you, to do what you are asking? Of course not! If you did, that rebellious disobedient child would not change for the better, but grow worse because you have rewarded that behavior. It's not different with God [our Father]. He knows what's best for us, His children. And He being a Good Father, He will not reward rebellious and disobedient behaviour either. He has reserved His blessings for those who will obey, who love Him, who honor Him, just just with their lips, but with their hearts and lives.
If your children have not been raised to know the Lord, or His Word, do not fret, God is merciful and will help and forgive, if you will humble yourself and acknowledge your need for Him, if you will ask His forgiveness, if you have willingly sinned [rebelled, disobeyed], and you must also ask Him to forgive the sins of your forefathers, which may be the result of you know knowing Him like He desires for you, for any sin and iniquity they were involved with, because the generational curse is in operation and must be destroyed. It will only be reversed by your confessions of your sins, asking forgiveness of theirs, and seeking the Lord and His Ways [by hearing His Word and doing it] that will cause you to come under the blessings of obedience, which restores you to God, enabling you to receive by faith His love and mercy, forgiveness, healing, restoration and all He has provided.
There is only one sin that is unforgivable and that is blasphemy against the Holy Spirit [that is, whoever intentionally comes short of the reverence due the Holy Spirit]. "If anyone acknowledges me publicly here on earth, I, the Son of Man, will openly acknowledge that person in the presence of God's angels. But if anyone denies me here on earth, I will deny that person before God's angels. Yet those who speak against the Son of Man may be forgiven, but anyone who speaks blasphemies against the Holy Spirit will never be forgiven" (Luke 12:10)
We need to seek and find out God's Will so that we are positioning ourselves for the blessings and not ignorantly [unknowingly] walking and operating under the curse thinking it's God's fault when in reality its due to our lack of knowing Him and walking according to His Ways! The blessings are not just going to automatically happen for us. We must learn of Him and be willing to do.
Ask God for His Wisdom and the resources you need to resolve the current situations you are facing. He will lead and guide you. "The steps of the godly are directed by the Lord. He delights in every detail of their lives." (Psalms 37:23)
"God's blessings are connected to His presence and our lifestyles determine where His presence abides." Pastor Greg Brown
PRACTICING THE PRESENCE OF GOD
Practicing the presence of God simply means, make it a habit of spending time with God.
How do we do this? We do so by “seeking first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness [His ways of being and doing right]” (Matthew 6:33). We can only learn of Him as we seek Him and seek what He has said, taught, declared, instructed, commanded, and promised, just like any other father. We must spend time with Him if we want to know and understand Him and have His favor [His blessings on our lives]. So, it is found in His Word and in His presence.
Through Jesus’ shed blood we now have entrance and access into and before His very presence, by faith. We can now come before Him and when we do, we are told to “Shout with joy before the Lord, O earth! Obey him gladly; come before him singing with joy. Try to realize what this means—the Lord is God! He made us—we are his people, the sheep of His pasture. Go through his open gates with great thanksgiving; enter his courts with praise. Give thanks to him and bless His name. For the Lord is always good. He is always loving and kind, and his faithfulness goes on and on to each succeeding generation” (Psalms 100).
By giving thanks unto Him for His precious shed blood that paid the price for us and now makes us apart of His family and citizens of His Kingdom, we can come boldly before His throne as His kids. We can come and talk with our Daddy, our Father God, and sit at His feet, abiding in His presences, and receive everything we could ever need and desire. By His Word and the knowledge of His Word, His Son, Jesus Christ the Anointed One, we are made one with Him and He Himself fills us with His presence, His Holy Spirit who has sealed us at the moment be believed on Him and confessed Christ as Lord. By His Spirit and through His Word, He teaches us and reveals to us His plan and purposes for our lives. He has a good plan for each one who believes (Jeremiah 29:11), but it’s not revealed unto we call out to Him and ask.
If we just took the time to do what we just read, our lives would be so full of the presence and power of God that we would not be so preoccupied with our own needs because He would gladly supply even before we asked. He delights to give unto His children the desires of their hearts. But its only His children that come to Him and spend time with Him, sharing their hearts, even as they listen to His. He reveals His heart and desires, and as we spend our time thinking about His desires to save, heal, deliver, set free others, praying for His good plan and purposes to be done in their lives, being willing to be used by Him to be a blessing to others, that He so faithfully supplies all our needs, according to His riches in glory.
So each day take time to come before the Lord your God, come singing with joy [no because of your circumstances, but because of Who He is to you and what He has already done for you], come with great thanksgiving and praise Him Who alone is God Almighty, the All Sufficient One, the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End, the First and the Last, the Prince of Peace, the Everlasting Father, the Great I AM, Who is Everything to us, the Source and Supplier of our every need and desire! Bless Him, the Lord God Almighty!
And as you come, come in the name of Jesus, come thanking the Lord for His shed blood that gives you access, come to yield your very being to Him, your life, your mind, your thoughts, your soul [your mind, will, and emotions], and in your giving, receive: receive all He is, receive His very life, His mind, His thoughts, His will for your life. Open your Bible and let the Holy Spirit lead and guide you into all the Truth. Ask the Lord what you should read and meditate on. Also read through the Scriptures starting with The Book of John, then the Book of Romans, then start at the Beginning of the New Testament with the Book of Matthew and read the entire New Testament before going to the Old Testament. The New gives you understanding of the Old. Make the decision to believe God’s Word, receive God’s Word as truth and do not let it depart out of your mouth, but meditate on it [pondering it, mull over it, speaking it to yourself] day and night, so that you may observe to do what is says, not being a forgetful hearer but a doer of the Word of God and blessed as the result of your obedience to your Heavenly Father. Think about His promises and what He wants you to do. Soak in all His presence and ask Him to have His way in your life [in you and through you towards others], where the words of your mouth and the meditation of your heart area acceptable in His sight. When your thoughts become agreeable to His Will, His good plan shall be established and succeed in and through you.
When you go before God, take your Bible, a note pad and pen so that you can write down what is in your heart [spoken to the Lord] and what He is speaking and ministering to you; the understanding and revelation He is revealing to you during this time and any instructions He gives you. Take time to also just lay before Him, allowing Him to touch your physical body, if you are in need of physical healing and comfort, peace of mind, etc. He is your Healer and the Restorer; He is your Peace. Let Him heal and restore you in every area of your life and bring comfort to you. As you do, you will find that you have more peace and tranquility during the rest of your day. You have greater power to overcome life’s challenges, increased faith, and as the Lord promises to those who ask, “Wisdom” that makes the hours of your day more profitable and the years of your life more fruitful.
