We agree that “Success just doesn’t happen. God favors the prepared mind!” as stated by Dr. Mark Chironna. There is something we must do to have success!
There are two important qualities all of our children need to have. They need to be grateful and they need to be eager. If they are not grateful, they will take everything for granted. They will expect everybody to give them what they need on a silver platter. They also need to be eager - eager to learn, eager to serve, eager to achieve, eager to be better than they are currently.
Life Skills Education coupled with the Wisdom of Biblical Principles have been proven to guarantee success and prosperity in the lives of youth and families. We are equipping our next generation and their parents for successful living, which will continue to affect generations to come, and is causing our families and communities to experience and enjoy successful prosperous lives and living ~ "the Blessing."

“WHY BIBLICAL PRINCIPLES?”
For those who may be concerned why a community outreach youth program would include Biblical Principles:
Biblical principles over the wisdom of man, has for centuries proven to provide the promised success, when rightly appropriated. Please note that these programs are Biblically founded because in order for youth and families to have true success they must have the knowledge of what God has said. This information is graciously shared, and not forced upon anyone. God is love and He doesn't force anyone to hear the good things He has already done for them. He invites us to hear and receive. He teaches us the practical steps to living life successfully. He teaches us how to choose the best path.
We have come to know and understand through experience, and other studies have proven, that the wisdom of man to resolve the issues and challenges of man's life do not prove successful, but rather worse. True and lasting success only comes from acknowledging God (as Creator) and receiving and walking in His kind of Love as outlined in the Scriptures. The phrase "Do unto others as you would have others do unto you." Is a Scripture verse. This is called the 'Golden Rule' which has been revealed to man through the Holy Scriptures. Many very successful people have take God at His Word and have written it and declared it. And in so doing, they have released the power of the Universe which causes all things to come into alignment with that revealed and declared promise. His Words do not return void; they produce results!
God's Word has been made manifest to us through the testimony of the prophets, apostles, and His Son, Jesus Christ. Christ testifies of the power of God's love and new life by His Holy Spirit, which ALL can obtain through His promise of abundant life and living. Faith. which simply means "believing, confident trust," is received by hearing what is possible. He testified that “With men it is impossible, but not with God; for with God all things are possible” (Mark 10:27). Hearing what is possible produces hope and hope enables us to receive what God has made available. The Scriptures also provide us wisdom (practical principles for living) which leads to success.
Everyone wants to have a happy life of success. So who is to prevent such a life if one is willing to hear, have hope, believe, and declare it so?
As an example: For those who have been taken captive by the use and misuse of drugs and alcohol. Many government supported programs seek to help these individuals, yet without real and lasting results. They know it. And it has been confirmed that only programs as Alcoholics Anonymous (AA) and Teen Challenge have been truly successful. So what is the difference between these two programs and those like them, verses the many others that are out there? They include the revealed knowledge of God (His promises) and the principles He has set forth in His Word, which teach us how to live life successfully. He created us, and when we acknowledge that, we honor Him. When we honor Him, He will honor us!
Even our government leaders now recognize the fact of this success. And for this reason they have been moved to create the “Faith –Based Initiatives.” Our government is depending upon faith-based organizations to handle many social issues. It has been demonstrated that faith-based programs are having successful results; and everyone wants results! The reason is they are imparting to program participants the principles of right living (morality) as God sees it and has revealed it to man (love, honor, respect, and obedience), is so that they can learn to know God's love for them. Knowing that God loves you empowers you to love others. Learning God's ways of honor, respect, and obedience, empower us to walk in ways of honor, respect and obedience; thus producing positive life-giving virture toward one another.
Biblical principles provide Wisdom, knowledge and understanding and gives us peace of mind; shutting the door to fear. Fear is the open door to every problem in life. It is fear that even causes one to question “Why Biblical Principles?” Fear brings torment, turmoil, and causes people’s responses to produce more fear, leading to more fear, and those filled and influenced by it will take actions that produce more fear. A mind filled with Truth [accurate knowledge and understanding] produces love, peace, joy, and goodness and results in actions, attitudes, habits and words that produce peace, joy, and good will toward all.
This is what we desire and our society needs. Wouldn't you agree?
Here at the learning center, we provide youth and young adults the opportunity to learn that God loves them (as we demonstrate God's love in word and deed), and that He has a wonderful plan and future for them (encouraging them in all the good He has planned for them). They learn to identify and overcome the influences that seek to hinder and destroy their success. The results: they grow in the good plan He has for them, living happy, fulfilled lives.
Listen to and read some of their testimonies (Students) and (Parents). Not everyone who comes to the center has this knowledge and understanding, yet, once they have come to experience the love, care, concern, that the program, facilitators, and volunteers offer, their families are touched by that love and transformation begins. They experience love, restoration and healing in a new way, even while they are learning the basic life skills, life planning and preparation and financial strategies for successful living.
