So you see, it is up to us, PARENTS, and those who care enough to help!

He revealed this through Hosea the Prophet, "My people are being destroyed because they don't know me." And He tells us why "It is all your fault, you priests, for you yourselves refuse to know me.  Now I refuse to recognize you as my priests.  Since you have forgotten the laws of your God. I will forget to bless your children.  The more priests there are the more they sin against me.  They have exchanged the glory of God for the disgrace of idols." (Hosea 4:6-7).  What was happening? "The priests got fed when the people sinned, because they brought their sin offerings to them.  So the priests were glad when the people sin!" And he said, 'Like priest, like people'--since the priests are wicked, the people are wicked, too." The priests were supposed to teach the people God's Covenant Commands and to lead by example.  But because they did not the result of their disobedience [sin and wickedness] was the curse that the Lord declared against them, "They will eat and still be hungry.  Though they do big business as prostitutes [whoredom: adultery, idolatry by serving their lusts (strong passions and desires) sin], rather than serving God in righteousness, "for they have deserted the Lord to worship idols." "Alcohol and prostitution have robbed my people of their brains.  They are asking a piece of wood to tell them what to do!  They think a stick can tell them the future!  Longing after idols has made them foolish.  They have played the prostitute, serving other gods and deserting their God." He says, "O foolish people!  You will be destroyed, for you refuse to understand; do not join with those who worship me insincerely,  worship is mere pretense." So with all this, let us not be named among these that profit from sin and wickedness or who refuse to rise up and take responsibility!  We must choose His Ways!

Refusing to hear the truth of God's Will, refusing to understand, refusing to obey God's commands is what causes His people to perish [to be destroyed; to fail].  The Lord gave by Command to the priests and His people, for them to learn of Him and to teach their children to walk after Him:

"These are all the commands, laws, and regulations that the Lord your God told me to teach you so you may obey them in the land you are about to enter and occupy, and so you and your children and grandchildren might fear the Lord your God as long as you live.  If you obey, you will enjoy a long life; then all will go well with you, just as the Lord, the God of your ancestors promised you.you must love the Lord your God with all your heart, all your souls, and all your strength.  And you must commit yourselves wholeheartedly to these commands I am giving you today.  Repeat them again and again to your children.  Talk about them when you are at home and when you are away on a journey, when you are lying down and when you are getting up again.You must diligently obey the commands of the Lord.  Do what is right and good in the Lord's sight, so all will go well with you.  In the future your children will ask you, 'What is the meaning of these stipulations, laws, and regulations that the Lord our God has given us?  Then you must tell them.the Lord our God commanded us to obey all these laws and to fear [reverence: honor, respect, love and obey] Him for our own prosperity and well-being." (Deuteronomy 6:1-25)

"Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it," "Teach your children to choose the right path, and when they are older, they will remain on it." (Proverbs 22:6)

Jesus instructs us," Take My yoke upon you and learn of Me" (Matthew 11:29). Yoke means law. His Word is His Law.  His law is the Law of the Spirit which is love; God's love.  Love for God, love for our neighbors as ourselves.  Responsibility to train our kids to love the Lord and His Ways, to love others, is our responsibility.  We cannot allow the devil (society's influence) to convince us to let our children reject that love: disobedience and rebellion regardless of anything else.  We cannot allow the traditions of our forefathers (who rebelled and did not teach and train our generation in the Lord's Ways), be the continuing cycle for our families.  Because of man's demise, God sent His only begotten Son, Whom He loved--Jesus--His Word--to redeem, deliver and save us from the control of that sin nature and to create in us a new heart; reestablishing our rightful place in His Kingdom as His sons and daughters; having provided the direction, illumination, and empowerment by His life-giving Holy Spirit so that we can live the life that produces prosperity--well being.   In order to experience it, we must do what our Father God has commanded, said, and instructed us in; teaching our children and our children's children in His ways--even to every generation!

Our government has banned our public educational system employees (including public school teachers) from leading children in reciting the Scriptures (God's Word) or praying with the children. In a country where laws were estblished to protect religious freedoms, it is sad to see many of those religious freedoms taken away.  Anytime we miss use something or someone, there are consequences. Remember, God is Love.  He is not a respector of persons.  The lack of love demonstrated towards one person has great affect.  So what should we do.  Love is the answer!

Love that provides knowledge and understanding, and the principles that lead to successful living is needeed to teach our children and to ensure that we and our children know and understand the Truth. 

Today is a new day in the educational arena!  Organizations like ours are rising up as a 'gateway of hope."

Trinity's Learning Resource Center is a charitable, non-profit, youth mentoring, education, training and faith [Biblically] based organization that is here for every child, youth and family in our community; no matter of their faith or religious background.  We are here in response to LOVE.  God's love and His Lord's commission "to go into all the world," living that love.  And as "sent out ones" to "turn the hearts of the fathers [parents] to their children, and their children's hearts to their father [parents] and the disobedient to the wisdom of the just [godly wisdom]" (Malachi 4:5, 6); "...preparing the people for his arrival, he will change disobedient minds to accept godly wisdom." (Luke 1:17).  We are not talking about religion, we are talking about preparing and equipping our youth, families, and communities with the knowledge they need for successful living and it only comes by and through the knowledge of and faith in Him (Christ) Who is LOVE, and a right relationship with Him and all others. It's about relationship!  It's about knowing and understanding what life is really about; how to relate to people and things.  If we lack the knowledge of the purpose of a thing or person, abuse is inevitable.  Abuse has been the way of living for too many because the lack of this knowledge and empowerment.  No social program in and of itself can make the changes needed, only love, expressed through the knowledge of having a right relationship with God and that love flowing to others, and learning and applying the principles (laws) of life that lead to success and well-being.

Researching statistics show that we as parents, teachers, school administrators, business owners, pastors, community leaders and volunteers must do more to ensure our children and the children of our community's success.  Just as the statistics are alarming, it is also sign that we cannot wait until our children are teenagers, kicked out of school, arrested, shot, maimed or killed to reach and impart these vital basic life skills.  In the past, it has only occurred when something bad happens that we muscle up enough enthusiasm or courage to do something constructive.   Our young people desperately need this love, care, concern, knowledge and understanding, and equipped with these skills in order to ensure their success at home, in school, and in the community; they need the loving support of those who will show them the way, by demonstrating that they are not alone in this battle.  They need to see and feel that help and support!  They need to know we are here for them.  Will you help us help them?

The staggering statistics we have shared can be changed, if we are all willing to do what we are "commanded" and "can" do to assist these youth to become positive contributors in our communities.  Every community, every family, and every child and youth needs to know and understand how to acquire and utilize these basic life skills in order to make wise decisions, and it is the decisions of our youth or the lack thereof that will determine their destiny.  Trinity's Learning Resource Center is here to help assist in this process.  Will you help and be apart in the rebuilding and building of our youth--our next generation--and our communities?  They are our future leaders and lawmakers.  And what kind of leaders and lawmakers do we want to have?  If we don't prepare and equip them, they will not be prepared and equipped to lead!

Here at Trinity, we have been committed to providing "low-cost" training and education to youth and their families and want to ask you to help and partner with us.  Will you assist us and volunteer your time, talents, and finances--communicating your love and faith to help the Learning Center Annex to train and mentor these children and youth; helping us reach generations?  Will you enroll your children and youth?  For as we touch one, we affect generations.

We would like to first ask you to partner with us by sharing the Life Skills Enrichment programs with every parent and family you know that resides here in the West Valley.  We know that the percentage of those who actually call, come in, and enroll has everything to do with people knowing that this kind of resource is available at "no cost" to the families.  We only require that they participate in the scheduled fundraisers the organization is required to have in order to support the Learning Center programs goals and objectives according to the IRS ruling.  In addition, we would like to request that you put your dollars where your heart is!  Is it for your family, your youth, those in your neighborhood, your community?  Is it for families to be able to enjoy one another, spending quality time together, having and enjoying life and prosperity?  Is it for those around you to be show concern for one another?  Is it to guarantee our community's success and well-being?  The only answer to these questions can be a resounding "Yes!" 

We all want this, but will we be "willing and obedient" to do it, to have and enjoy it? (Isaiah 1:19) We all have a part to play.  We are all connected for purpose.  And that purpose is to not only fulfill our own dreams and life goals, but to help others do the same!
