Shopping Around?
While you are shopping around for the best program service for your particular needs,  remember to ask all pertinent questions.  Before making your decision, be sure you are able to obtain information from reliable sources, such as the Better Business Bureau Report, etc.  This is how you can weed out companies and service providers that are questionable.

1.     Don't use a "Credit Repair Company".  There are many individuals who are seeking "Credit Repair"
because they heard they can pay someone a fee and they will delete their negative information that is on
their credit report in a matter of days or weeks.  Credit Repair Companies usually unlawfully charge a very
large sum of money in exchange for this promise.  What you, as a conscientious individual, need to know is
that this is an illegal practice.  Only inaccurate negative information can be removed unless there is a
technicality that can be found where your credit has violated your consumer rights.  These Credit Repair
Companies are not in the business to investigate and determine such technicalities; they are only seeking
to remove negative items from your credit report either through a  "confidential contact" or source in one of
the bureau agencies, or they will prepare written letters advising the bureaus it is inaccurate information
reporting and request them to delete it [even though it is legitimate].  What happens next is the
heartbreaker for those who paid for this serive.  The original creditor, when they are not paid; have not
been able to contact you for payment; they will conduct an asset search and pulls your credit report, finding
that the item has been deleted. Because legally they cannot report what has been deleted, they will sell the
debt to another debt collector can report it under their name who will now seek to recover the debt in their
behalf.  Either way, the creditor is going to seek to be paid. The Lending Industry is aware of the tactics
people are seeking to use to avoid their responsibilities in fulfilling their financial obligations.  There is a
legal and ethical way to become debt free and credit worthy.  We can show you how!

2.    Ask if the company is apart of Consumer Credit Counseling Service (CCCS) or if they  are a
Consumer Credit Counseling Agency.

Reason? Once CCCS takes over your accounts, they will report to the credit bureaus that you are going
through their program.  It reports "CCCS Account", or "Consumer Credit Counseling".  Unfortunately, your
future lenders will view this and determine that you are incapable to manage your own bills, and see it no
different than you filing a Chapter 13 Bankruptcy.  This will also reduces your credit scores even more.

3.     Check to make sure that the company is listed with the Better Business Bureau and has a good
"Report Card".  Click the link and type in their company name and city; or call the bureau and provide
them this informaiton and request information on their rating report.

4.    Get references of other Client's who have experienced or currently receiving services through such
program.  Every quality business should have references who can share with you their own experience
of the product or service.

5.     Make sure you are not being pressured from any other source to apply for a loan or credit when your credit
profile has outstanding collections, charge-off's, judgments, etc. without first addressing those issues. Why?

Read a few testimonies...
When you are seeking home ownership/refinancing and you have outstanding collections, charge-offs, late accounts, judgments, reporting on your credit profile and try to apply for a loan with your credit in the condition it is, there may be someone who will try to qualify you for a loan, but what will happen is you will be required to put down 25%-30%, charged higher points, and what you thought you where getting, will become a burden later on that you will not be able to maintain.  But if you will take the time to address your debt and credit issues, you can become debt free and credit worthy, qualifying for lower rates.  Let's look at what the difference is in real terms [money].

Scenario 1: Debts and credit accounts remain as is, and for a home costing $200,000, credit scores 499, interest rate of 8%
25% down = $50,000
30% down = $60,000

Do you really have this kind of money sitting in your bank account?  Most peopleple do not.
Your total monthly payment will be $1,100.65
Total payments = $396,234.00

Scenario 2: Go through our program, position and prepare yourself for debt freedom and credit worthiness and with a score of 640, interest rate of 4%
3% down = $6,000
4% = $8,000
5% = $10,000
Your monthly payment will be $954.83
Total Payments = $343,738.86

What's the difference?  $52,495.14, plus the difference you paid in down payment $50,000+ in down payment, totaling $96,495.14 difference in payments.  What is the best?  It doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure it out.  You know what the best is--the issue in most cases is PATIENCE.  Your situation did not happen overnight and it is not going to be resolved overnight.  This is reality.  But, if you will be a student, be teachable, and walk through the process, in a short period of time, you can obtain your dreams and goals.
