Thought For The Month
If money could talk, what would it say to you?
When In Doubt
This is an editorial we will maintain on this newsletter for time to come. Recently, we have experienced several inquirers who've debated our ability to perform the services required due to non-belief. This was a result of bad experiences in the past through very unfortunate business deals that went south of the border. We understand it's very difficult to truth someone when you've have continued to experience transactions that never worked.
Proverbs 29:4 goes on to say that good leaders will rule with justice and good judgment, while evil leaders will be more interested in their own personal desires, than the good of the people.
Because of this, their decisions can be swayed by bribes from unscrupulous people who want certain favors. A wicked king or ruler will also cause their subjects to pay tribute (exorbitant taxes) so that they can live a luxurious lifestyle. They are not for lowering taxes, but rather seek to lay heavy burdens on the people, so that their own burdens are light. There were some evil rulers in Jesus' day who did the same thing. Jesus called them a bunch of snakes and warned them they were on their way to hell.
Matthew 23:4 & 33:
Verse 4: For they bind heavy burdens and grievous to be borne, and lay them on men's shoulders; but they themselves will not move them with one of their fingers.
Verse 33: Ye serpents, ye generation of vipers, how can ye escape the damnation of hell?
In times like these, we are will aware that many people seek help from the right sources to help resolve their financial matters without the concern of lossing their investment. There are so many unfortunate new businesses established in the past 2 years with intentions to operate in a Walmart like manner, but customer service and integrity was last our their list. Due to the greed and survival mentality, the nature of the beast has influenced desperate consumers to make unwise decisions due to llack of relationship with God, and through the expectancy of needing it right now whether it was right or wrong.
We are very sensitive to what God's Word says about this. Maintaining compliance, integrity, and excellent customer service is our utmost valued asset. It substains us and keeps us in business. Through it all, He (God) is glorified!
Below is a list of resourceful information to help you make a wise decision in allowing us to help you.

How Twitter Can Rock Your Business
A recent article in the Dutch business magazine Sprout said
Twitter is expected to be the first internet medium that will
reach one billion users.
So, if you’re not yet on Twitter, sign up. If you’re already using Twitter, why not make the effort to learn additional ways you can use it to grow your business.
I know, I can hear you saying that you barely have time to do all of the marketing activities you’re already doing! But please consider the impact this new strategy can have on your business.
Here are some basic facts. Twitter is a free service where you can post messages (called tweets) of up to 140 characters. This is also known as micro-blogging. You can follow people’s tweets and share your tweets with people who follow you.
This isn’t going to be about ‘how to’ get set up on Twitter. There is a ton of marvelous information out there for free out on how to do that. Here are two resources to get you started: http://tinyurl.com/c7nutt and
page and sign up for a free Twitter success report).
I want to focus on WHY you should get on board and how using Twitter can help you grow your business and be more profitable.
I’m not an expert on Twitter and I continue to learn more all the time. I just started my account. As with any new service, you can actually learn by doing and watching what others do.
BENEFITS FOR YOUR BUSINESS:
1. Meet potential new clients you would otherwise probably never encounter
2. Discover new business opportunities
3. Connect with strategic alliance partners
4. Position yourself as an expert and attract media attention
5. Promote your events
6. A place to share your knowledge if you don’t have an ezine or blog
(If you do have an ezine and blog, Twitter will complement them fabulously).
WHAT TO TWEET ABOUT:
It’s true, some people do tweet about what they are eating or that they are going to walk the dog. As a business owner you can make the majority of your tweets about your area of expertise, information that adds value. For example, you can share:
If you’ll think seriously with me for a moment, you will realize that you are one of two kinds of people.
You are either a “can do” person or you are a “can’t do” person.
If you feel you can’t do things, I’m going to give you six points that will take you out of the loser’s circle and put you into the winner’s circle.
No matter how unsuccessful you may have been up to this point, it can change today.
All of the success you find in the world has its basis in the Bible anyway.
These six things will make you a winner in your career, in your marriage, in any project you do, or in any other aspect of your life.
The major accomplishments in life usually pivot around several fairly simple rules.
You need to realize that everything that is an amazement to us today was only a thought to someone at one time.
When we read about jets that go six hundred miles an hour and travel five miles above the earth, we have to remember that it all began with the idea that it “could” work.
The first thing you have to do if you are going to be successful at any given thing is to fix your mind on what you want to do.
The Bible tells us that a double-minded man is unstable in all of his ways.
James 1:8 in the Amplified Bible says:
“[For being as he is] a man of two minds (hesitating, dubious, irresolute), [he is] unstable and unreliable and uncertain about everything [he thinks, feels, decides].”
You can do something every day, but you can’t do everything every day. You are going to have to decide what you specifically want to do.
Many times you hear people say they are going to be whatever God wants them to be. That sounds very spiritual but it doesn’t work.
In Ecclesiastes 9:10, the first part of that scripture says:
“Whatsoever thy hand findeth to do, do it with thy might.”
The Bible is telling you that whatever you plan to do, get in there and do it. Be specific about it, and do it.
The remainder of Ecclesiastes 9:10 brings out a very good point:
“. . .for there is no work, nor device, nor knowledge, nor wisdom, in the grave, wither thou goest.”
The point of this scripture is you can only accomplish things on the earth while you are living so you’d better get to it.
The second thing it takes to be a success is determining what it will cost to accomplish the desired goal.
You are going to have to pay a price.
Do you see all the gimmicks around offering things for free? You are going to have to realize that nothing is free.
The scriptures prepare us to make a commitment. Look at Luke 14:28-30 in the New Living Translation:
“But don’t begin until you count the cost. For who would begin construction of a building without first calculating the cost to see if there is enough money to finish it? 29 Otherwise, you might complete only the foundation before running out of money, and then everyone would laugh at you. 30 They would say, ‘There’s the person who started that building and couldn’t afford to finish it!’”
You have to be willing to pay the price for your success. Just ask any athlete how much time they spend in preparation for each minute on the court or playing field.
Third, establish a timetable in which to accomplish specific goals. This is a hard thing for some people to get established.
The fourth step is developing a workable game plan.
You can’t always write a workable game plan the first time you sit down. You may not know all the steps it takes, but you write it out the best you can figure. Then, adjust it and readjust it as necessary.
After a few years you will be a pro at writing out a game plan for being successful at what you have chosen to do whatever that might be. You will see it accomplished but you have to be flexible in your game plan.
This is where it’s important to have friends/mentors that share your motivation. You can brainstorm with them about possibilities.
Proverbs 27:17 says:
“Iron sharpens iron; so a man sharpens the countenance of his friend [to show rage or worthy purpose].”
Fifth, put your plan or goal into a tangible form.
You have to write the vision and make it plain. This step is critically important.
For years I used legal pads for preparing my Critical Path which is what I call my tangible form.
Now I’m using “Mind Map” which is an excellent computer program for brainstorming and planning.
Number six is the one that will make all the difference in the world if you are a child of God.
Decide how you plan to use your success for God and see the tangible form each day. This is the thing that is missing in the world’s system of success.
People may achieve their success but too many of them end up divorced or in drug or alcohol addiction. They end up unhappy because Satan has plans to make them captive to their success.
As a child of God you can enjoy great success if you will decide now what your success is going to do for God. If you do that, you can have all the success that you have the nerve to ask God for. But you are going to have to do all six things.
Luke 9: 62 in the New Living Translation says:
“But Jesus told him, “Anyone who puts a hand to the plow and then looks back is not fit for the Kingdom of God.”
God is not interested in double-minded people. He is interested in people that pick up the plow and finish the job.
Let me show you a promise that you will be glad you looked at. Matthew 17:20 says:
“And Jesus said unto them, …, If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, Remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible unto you.
Pay particular attention to that last part.
“. . .and nothing shall be impossible unto you.”
Did you catch this? Nothing will be impossible to you. You have to believe that you are going to succeed.
Remember Ecclesiastes 9:10 says:
“Whatsoever thy hand findeth to do, do it with thy might…”
Let’s look at the 6 steps to success one more time.
1. Fix in your mind on exactly what you want to accomplish.
2. Determine what it will cost to accomplish the desired goal.
3. Establish a timetable with definite goals that you want to reach.
4. Set up a workable game plan, but be sure it is flexible.
5. Turn your plan or desired goal into a tangible form.
6. Decide how you plan to use the success that you accomplish for God and look at it each day.
Remember, when Jesus asked a man to follow him and he said, “Let me go home and bury my father first.” And Jesus said, “Let the dead bury the dead.” (Taken from Matthew 8:22; Luke 9:60)
Jesus said the man was not worthy. You have to be willing to give up everything. You have to say, “I’m going on no matter what.” That’s the point you have to come to in your life.
Once you are awakened and enlightened to the fact that your life is nothing without Jesus, success can and will be yours.
How to Know if You’re in a Marketing Haze Sometimes you can get so wrapped up in the details of yourbusiness that you find yourself doing marketing that isn’tvery effective. I call this a marketing haze. Let me begin with the good news. If you discover you’re in amarketing haze, remember that at least you’re taking actionwith your marketing. Now all you need to do is redirect yourenergy to the marketing activities that are going to really payoff for your business. Let’s look at how to do that. But first, how do you get into the haze in the first place? Here are three of the main reasons you might find yourself lostin the fog.
1. DISTRACTION It’s no wonder that you get distracted by the latest fad ornew trend in marketing. You constantly hear about something newthat works for someone else and think you better try that orelse you’ll miss out big time.
2. AVOIDANCE There are usually some marketing tasks that aren’t yourfavorite things to do so you avoid them by keeping yourself busydoing something else (anything else).
3. LACK OF CLARITY If you’ve been in business for awhile you may not havereconnected to the goals you have for your company lately. Whenthis happens, it’s easy for your marketing to becomefragmented and disconnected from the actual outcome you want toreach. Perhaps you recognize one or all of these three situations. Don’t despair, with a little effort you can get yourself backon track. First off, step back and ask yourself what specific result eachof the marketing actions you’re taking will bring. Write themdown and then ask yourself these questions: * Is it a targeted and direct result? * Is the result short-term or long-term? * Is it the best use of your time and resources at this momentin your business? Here are a few examples. You might get distracted by spendingtime and money updating your website with the latest gizmo whenyou know you really need to contact potential clients. Or you may intentionally avoid connecting with new prospectiveclients for instance by diving into a project to exchange yourwebsite link with other companies. Now I’m not saying exchanging links isn’t a good thing, itjust may not be the top priority. And taking action with thepeople you know you want to meet is a more direct path withquicker results. If you find yourself in a marketing haze because of a lack ofclarity, it could be that your action is quite effective butyou’re directing it to the wrong group. In all of these circumstances it’s important to constantlythink about how the marketing actions you’re taking willimpact your business. Only choose the activities that willbring the results you’re really after. Your marketing strategy is based on your business model. Review the goals of your business model and decide which oneswill lead you directly to your desired outcome. Once you’ve identified your most effective marketingactivities; write them down, prioritize them, and stick to them. Remember, the shortest distance between two points is astraight line. Don’t take the long, twisted road to get whereyou are going. Someone recently reminded me the importance of keeping thingssimple in business. Oh so true. Marketing doesn’t have to becomplicated to be effective. So eliminate the marketing distractions, stop avoiding thingsthat you know you can do, and get really clear about thecohesion of your actions. Then you can get into focused andprofitable actions and you’ll avoid slipping into a marketing haze.
